startup was marketable. LetsPlay, which went live in April,
has built an interactive gaming platform that allows two
players to connect and send games to one another over any
email program. Because players can choose to which friends
to send games, the company's platform can grow virally.
It's a great model for advertisers, who can sponsor games
and gain access to an ever-growing and captive audience.

LaunchCenter 39 Leads $1.5 Million Investment in LetsPlay

Spam is one thing, but who wouldn't want an e-mail game
to pop up each day before the cubicle walls start closing
in? With a cash infusion totaling $1.5 million from the
Alley's own LaunchCenter 39 and Denver based InfoBeat, e-mail
gaming company LetsPlay hopes to bump up its marketing campaign
to trigger game competition across the Internet.
